A twin output planetary gearbox drives two output shafts from a single motor input. Kavitsu Transmissions manufactures two versions in Satara, Maharashtra. In the parallel axis twin output, the two outputs run on parallel, offset axes. In the uni axis twin output, both outputs sit on the same axis, one at each side of the gearbox.

A twin output gearbox removes the need for a second gearbox or a long line shaft. It keeps both outputs synchronised and cuts installation space and cost.
